My Favourite 5, I mean, 6 Plantaholic YouTubers!

Updated: Jun 13, 2019

There are so many plant-crazed lovelies posting on YouTube that it's really difficult to make a shortlist of my favourites! That said, I've managed to whittle down the list to my top 5, and here they are in no particular order of fabulousness!

Amanda from Planterina knows her shit, I tell ya! She's also funny as hell, incredibly talented on the DIY front and has a beautiful home full of amazing plants and style.

Her videos include plant description and care (and she really knows what she's talking about), styling tips, plant hauls and also often feature her adorable furbabies.

If you're into indoor gardens, you must check her out!

Ah, Betsy Begonia is a woman after my own heart - plant crazy, a bit quirky, has cats and loves her white wine! She also lives in France, which I did as an expat years ago, so we also have that in common..

Her videos include heaps of plant variety chat, care and propagation tips, plant hauls and hoyaboy, she loves her hoyas! This is what led me to her channel to start with, as hoyas are not something I see around my local nurseries much, but I wants them ALL!

If you want a fun evening of planty goodness, pour a glass of wine and crank up YouTube and work your way through her fun and really useful videos!

Here's another ridiculously knowledgeable plant guru you just have to check out.

Summer lives in a Brooklyn apartment with a chicken named Kippee and something like 700 or 800 plants. In an apartment! She can reel off the Latin names for most plants without batting an eye (yes, I'm jealous) and has a very natural and organic take on indoor gardening. Her YouTube series "Plant One On Me" is just fabulous - an absolute wealth of indoor plant knowledge, and always really fun and well-presented.

Her main website, Homestead Brooklyn, is absolutely amazing, and you're definitely going to want to get on to that pronto.

Kevin from Epic Gardening is another favourite of mine. He doesn't just cover indoor gardening, though - he also has heaps of information on growing veggies, hydroponics, micro-greens and so much more. He still does have plenty of videos and info on house plant care and all of that goodness.

I especially enjoy his on-tour videos, where he heads out to see what others are doing in the gardening / small farm world - make sure you check these out! Also be sure to head to the website for even more - Epic Gardening.

Awww, Nick is just gorgeous, and another one who is impressive at rattling off Latin plant names like a total boss! Like the others I've mentioned, Nick produces videos on plant variations, care, propagation, tours and plant hauls. The lucky guy happens to work as a buyer for a plant store (dream job, anyone?) so gets to see and order some really cool stuff!

With the number of houseplant hauls he shares, I'm just waiting for his house to literally burst at the seams - I hope he catches the moment on video when that happens, lol!

So, there you have it - my Top 5 Indoor Plant YouTube Gurus! I do follow so many more, and I'm sure I'll tell you all about them in another post soon. Actually, I just remembered one I simply can't leave out, and that's the lovely Harli G. I simply cannot have a top 5 list without her, so now it's going to have to be a Top 6 list!

Harli's enthusiasm and adoration of her plant babies is just divine, and her videos reflect that so beautifully. I'm also impressed at how she can keep potted plants on the floor without her dogs destroying them, I'm going to have to ask her what her secret is!

She posts heaps of tips, tutorials, fun stuff, plant hauls, shopping trips and more, so definitely don't miss her channel out.

Thanks so much for reading, if you have any favourite YouTubers I've missed out, please do tell us about them in the comments below - I need more YouTube material!!
